Finally!

Today, we had an appointment with the specialist and as the ultrasound tech went to go talk to the doctor, I had Mark put his hand on my stomach because I could him moving, and sure enough he kicked a soccer player kick, Mark pulled his hand bag in awe! I am so glad he finally got to feel David move!
On another note, everything looks great with the baby, he is still measuring big (thats to be expected though..Mark was 10 pounds 10 ounces at birth!!!) They had originally only seen of his 2 umbilical vessels (which can sometimes result in lack of oxygen or a smaller baby (haha!), well, the tech found the third one today! And obviously, this little guy doesnt have a problem growing :-). I am so glad things are going smoothly with him. I am starting to get really uncomfortable, especially when it comes to sleeping and the frequent urination isnt all that fun, but it will be so worth it when I get to hold David in my arms!!

Men Have Feelings Too

This post is dedicated to our good friends, the Days. Let me introduce you to Nate and Joelle...they are our neighbors just behind us. She is an amazing couponer and he is a great basketball player (his team just won the BYU-Idaho basketball championship). However, we do have some differences. The biggest one is our views on The Bachelor and Millionaire Match Maker. Millionaire Match Maker is an...lets say interesting show. For the sake of the readers, we're just going to have to agree to disagree on these shows.
Anyways, the other night we were over at their house when Joelle and I decided to run to the store about 9:30pm. Mark and Nate were going to stay with their cute baby and watch some TV. When Joelle and I got back about a half hour later, Mark was sitting in the chair and Nate laying on the couch...asleep. Apparently whatever they were watching had lost Marks interest, so he changed the channel on the TV. This is what we saw...

He didnt budge while we were all talking. Haha. It was pretty funny, we all got a good laugh.

Its coming together!

I am so grateful for all the kind and generous family and friends I have in my life! My friend Lindsey made these really cute letters for her little boys room. Well, she also made some for David! I love them!

The picture doesnt do it justice though!
The next addition to Davids room is the glider from Marks mom. I have wanted one so bad and she bought it as a gift! Mark put it together and I love it! Each item just makes everything so much more real and makes me ready for David to be here! Soon enought though. Thank you Dana!

Update on the not so little man...

We have a regular OBGYN as well as a specialist that I see (due to some abnormal blood work that came back, we see a specialist at the hospital in Idaho Falls every 4 weeks. Things look good and no one can explain the blood work.) Anyways, we had an appointment with our specialist on Monday and got to see little David. (They do an ultrasound each time I go to look at his spine). Everything looks good there. However, the doctor said if he keeps growing the way he is, I will have a 12 pound baby on my hands! (Yes, you read that correct...12 pounds!) Im not quite sure where he is going to fit, but we'll manage. She also said there really wasnt anything I could do to prevent this. Mark was nearly 11 pounds at birth (remember though, his mom is tall so there is lots of space to move around grow.) Needless to say, I hope my regular doctor will move my due date up! More updates to come...
On a side note, Im going to Maryland in April!! Wahoo!
Also, whoever you are, (especially those in Canada, Utah, West Virginia and all those others) that are looking at my blog...who are you? Im thinking Im probably going to go private soon. So, if I know you, leave your email address in a comment.
