Lots of pictures
We have been enjoying our nice summer weather and waiting to hear back on possible jobs. Here are some pictures of the fun we have been having.
What is summer without ice cream? We tried this new place, it was good, okay price wise, but small (think if there are more than 6 people inside, you are cramped).
David has loved water since he was itty bitty. We have gone to the splash park many a times and blown up the pool for neighborhood pool parties (thats a whole other post).
He gets a nice warm bath after the pool and is just happy to be in more water for longer.
Yesterday, we took him on the carousel for the first time. He loved riding the horsies.
Before we even know this baby was a girl, Carseat Canopy was having a huge sale. I could not resist this absolutely fun and girly cover...plus it was only $12! Anyways, we have lazy moments and David likes to use it as a blanket.
A few weeks ago, Janell and I took the kids to the laundromat with us to wash our comforters. Here are David and Emma coloring.
David has figured out if he climbs on the little chair in his room, he can reach the light switch. He loves to "turn light off"
There is a place here in town called The Craze. They have a really fun toddler room-tunnels, blocks and trains, and a moon bounce. Mark likes to take David there and win things for him. So far, their favorite has been their mustaches. This picture just cracks me up!
We play with chalk and outside as much as possible. Today, we left a piece of chalk in the street and someone ran over it (it very well may have been me. Haha.) Anyways, David decided to "paint" his cute face with it.
Hope everyone is having a great week! There is more to blog, I just gotta find the motivation to do it :-)

Back blogging
I know, I know it has been way too long since I last posted. So get ready for blog overload!
Back at the end of April we went to Bear World with some of our favorite people-the (Jake & Janell) Hargrave clan! It was a lot of fun, the kids loved all the animals.
Next up, in May we went to the Idaho Falls zoo for a friends birthday. It was unlike any zoo Mark and I have ever gone to. We are use to the St. Louis and National Zoos-huge, lots of different houses, etc. None the less, it was fun!
Next, David turned 2! I'm not quite sure how that happened actually. We had a small family celebration on his actual birthday. My mom was able to come out and help us celebrate as well!
The next day, we had a big party with some of our friends. We had cake at the park-genius! Thanks to all our friends that came and helped us celebrate our little man!
Next up in June, we went to the air show...for an hour. David was more interested in running around and looking at all the planes and cars. In his defense, there was way too much between the cars/planes.
We were able to watch the Hargrave girls so Jake & Janell could celebrate their anniversary kidless! These girls are so funny and there is never a dull moment when they are around.

The petting zoo was hit!
Probably Davids favorite part of it all, is the train! (Side story:
David loved the car ride. When we went back with my mom, he cried and
ended up having to end the ride early. The key to success is Emma!)

Alright, that catches us up. I'll get the 4th of July pictures and do that...soonish.
