Happy 4th of July!

I love the 4th of July-a great day to remember we are so grateful to live in this great country and even to remember the men and women that have and do serve (and their families!)

My cousin spent the night with us on his way to Yellowstone and my MIL came to get out of the St. George heat (unfortunately, we are having some warmer weather.) We started off the morning with waffles, sausage and playing!

Next, we got ready for the parade and headed off! It was really fun to see D and E be so excited with all the fun the parade can bring.

It was a hot day, so I took E into the grocery store we were sitting by to cool off. 

Goodness she's cute! We grabbed lunch on our way home, I gave the kids a cool down bath and we all went down for much needed naps. D was the first to wake up so we took some goofy pictures as we waited for E to wake up.

M had to work tonight, but my MIL and I took the kids to the rodeo. D loved it! E enjoyed it as well, but wanted to run and get as close to the animals as possible. We lasted about an hour and a half, and then grabbed some ice cream on the way home.

There was this chicken walking around. D wanted to get down and see him. He was fine with him so long as it was just high fives and pound its. He did not want to be right next to him for a picture.
